Valero Texas Open 2017 Payout

There was plenty at stake for the winner of this week’s event with a place at The Masters and there has been a significant increase to the 2019 Valero Texas Open prize money.

Corey Conners booked his spot at Augusta National and received $1,350,000 million of the $7.5 million prize purse, an increase of $200,000 compared to the share that 2018 winner Andrew Landry received.

The Valero Texas Open, first played in 1922, is the 3rd oldest PGA TOUR tournament. It’s only younger than the Western Open (1899) and Canadian Open (1904). If you include the U.S. Open (1895) managed by the USGA, and the PGA Championship (1916) managed by the PGA of America, then the Valero Texas Open is the fifth oldest professional. Here is the complete FedExCup points and purse breakdown for winner Corey Conners and the rest of the players who made the cut at the 2019 Valero Texas Open.
